Pinctada Hotel Broome

Home PINCTADA

Pinctada Hotel Broome sits at the edge of Cable Beach, one of Western Australia’s most iconic coastlines. Named after the Pinctada maxima, the South Sea pearl oyster that shaped Broome’s cultural and commercial identity for more than a century and the heart of the Paspaley legacy.

With 72 rooms and suites, the boutique property offers a gateway to the Kimberley, where the red pindan cliffs meet the Indian Ocean and where Paspaley has operated continuously since 1935.

Careers

Work with us

In remote Broome, with its unique and storied history, the Pinctada Hotel is alive with the distinct rhythm of the Kimberley. As part of the Paspaley Group, we offer hospitality careers for people who value genuine service, a spirit of adventure and a strong sense of place.

Where Paspaley Began

At its peak, the remote outpost of Broome and its surrounding waters produced 75 per cent of the world's mother-of-pearl, drawing divers, traders, and entrepreneurs from across the globe. It was here, in 1935, that humble pearl diver Nicholas Paspaley MBE began what would become one of Australia's most enduring family enterprises.

Pinctada Hotel Broome honours our shared history through heritage photography, material references and an approach to hospitality shaped by Broome itself: warm, relaxed and profoundly connected to the sea.

A Tropical Retreat

Pinctada's rooms and suites echo the surrounding landscape, with calm, considered interiors, private balconies and terraces to capture Broome's extraordinary light. Accommodation ranges from Courtyard Studio Suites to the Master Pearler Suite, each offering refined comfort to match the pace of Cable Beach.

Seasonal dining, the Maxima Pool, arrival loggia, and tropical gardens complete an experience shaped as much by place as by design.
