Introduction

Pearl Marine Engineering is a natural extension to the Paspaley portfolio stemming from decades of marine knowledge and experience through pearl farming activities. Pearl Marine Engineering today is a marine support, ship repair, engineering and maintenance facility based in Darwin.
 

The facility has a ship lifting capacity of approximately 2500 tonnes, with six dry berths and three wet berths. The shipyard caters to the requirements of owners and operators of vessels including tugs, barges, offshore support craft, fishing vessels, work boats and naval vessels.
 

Services

Pearl Marine Engineering services include docking, propeller shaft removal and replacement, valve refurbishment, machining, fabrication, electrical, electronics, abrasive blasting and painting.

A respected and reputable operator within the industry, Pearl Marine Engineering has been assessed and registered for Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System 18001:2007.
